Vince Melrose is located in a popular shopping district in Los Angeles. The interior structure of the existing building is exposed, highlighting features like the Douglas Fir ceiling beams and the original concrete floor.

Space was carved out of the original footprint to create bamboo gardens on either side of the store. Windows looking out onto the gardens connect the interior with the outdoors, inviting natural light into the space. Custom casework is arranged within the store and vertical display panels highlight the clothing presentations. Running along the space, the linear custom walnut “runway” doubles as a merchandise display.
