By year 2100, the sea level will rise 6.6 ft. reshaping the coastline of the peninsula, as well as many coastal areas worldwide. This project emphasizes on the idea of projecting future scenarios, that can be taken as an opportunity for making of Cone Island a testing ground for readdressing the relationship between man and nature.
Is it possible to trigger new natural phenomena, i.e. the upgrowth of new natural ecosystems through form and space? This thesis pretends to look for an architectural language that enhances the possibility of create new ways of life through speculative and experimental architectural production.
