Built in a full-scale 9’x9’ boundary on the Woodbury campus is a project that explored the concept of creating ambiguity between a scale architecture model and building. It does so by imitating real materials through digital fabrication and by creating ambiguity between a plan and elevation. The brick is milled MDF and placed in both the floor and wall structure, extending up to the window. Along-side this is a wall of grass. A door is scaled to fit a full wall with the cut out of an actual scale door. On the perpendicular wall is a wall pattern that is also MDF milled to imitate floor tiles with stairs leading up to a deck that has been painted to show the structure underneath.
