Problem: To create a design for a design knowledge center featuring interactive learning environment to educate visitors about the topic of our senior thesis.

Solution: The exhibition is called Hi-TecHotel and is an informative, interactive exhibition on personalizing family oriented themed hotels through technology. The exhibit allows guests to explore various types of technology through four different themed areas. Each themed area is set up to resemble a themed suite. Informational panels on the walls explain the techonlogy, how it can be used for personalization, and instruct the guests on how to try it for themselves. Ultimately, the goal of the exhibit is to show designers of family oriented themed hotels how to encourage personalization through new technology to help guests' suspend their belief in reality and become completely immersed in the theme, thereby providing a fuller experience for the guest.
