Tucked away in a small corner of a Key West neighborhood is an area that provides a wonderful
opportunity to give back to the public. It is on this site that the idea for a loggia and
public park came to fruition. The multi-leveled structure provides shaded and semi-shaded
areas for visitors, while being accessible by stair or land terrace. Hidden under the terraces
are utilities such as bathrooms and vending areas. At the base of the terraces is a paved
plaza for performances or a small corner market. The model produced for this design was
chosen to represent the work of the entire second year class.
