Interactive Pavilion for Buddhist temple, Sun Valley, California

Proposed interactive outdoor pavilion is to bring more life to the central open court of Mithree Vihara Buddhist center where most of the cultural and religious aspects of Sri Lankan Buddhist community come to alive.

Strongly inspired by Sri Lankan Kandyan Buddhist architecture and harmoniously merging it with simple straightforward modern forms with a strong cultural sense of experience has eventually paved a way to explore a new hypothetical 'Cultural- Modernism'.
