A series of temporary exhibit spaces built within the Geffen Contemporary Museum at MOCA. The study began with an investigation of interstitial spaces.
The larger of the galleries was designed around a central space created out of opposing geometries. Viewers revolve around the central space upwards and into a "leftover" space where Frank Ghery had split the grid of the building earlier. The dinosaur museum was built as a cave to simulate a cave like experience similar to that of primitive man. The deck and reception area was built on top of the museum where the split "leftover" space occurs.
