The Camlin Hotel is a national historic landmark high-rise structure in downtown Seattle.
Johnson Architecture's role was to fully restore and refurbish the hotel rooms, lobby, and guest services areas. The lobby, exterior and rooftop features were to their original, historic condition. The guest floors were reconfigured to provide full-service suites, and new conference and recreation was added. The project called for full building systems upgrades, including full seismic and life safety improvements, providing the Camlin the ability to function well into the new century.
