nARCHITECTS, PLLC, an internationally recognized and award-winning Brooklyn-based architecture firm founded in 1999, is seeking a candidate to assume combined responsibilities as Business Development and Marketing Manager.  In the Business Development Manager role, you will lead the firm’s efforts in identifying and cultivating opportunities for new work, connecting with potential clients, leading the firm’s responses to RFQs and RFPs, and assisting with managing the financial needs of a small firm. In the Marketing Manager role, you will be an important contributor in crafting the firm’s voice and presence in media and publications. We are looking for the right, long-term fit for our creative and dynamic office environment.  

Business Development Responsibilities

• Lead new business outreach, propose new initiatives and nurture / build prospective client relationships.
• Networking: Represent the firm in events / conferences to develop market awareness.
• RFQ / RFP’s: Work with Partners and senior staff to lead, design, write, and coordinate proposals, RFP’s and RFQ’s. Research relevant topics as required.
• Assist with assembling consultant teams for new opportunities.
• Assist with updating overall office project schedules.
• Press: Respond to press inquiries, prepare press releases, newsletters, and award submissions.
• Presentations: Work with Partners and senior staff to coordinate potential or current project presentations and submission books.
• Lectures / Conferences: Assist the Partners in coordinating / preparing for lectures.
• Update firm portfolios, firm profiles, bio’s and staff resume.
• Oversee & update firm’s website, web presence, and social media.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities

Requirements

• An undergraduate or grad degree in a design, art or communications-related discipline.
• Prior experience in architecture / planning marketing and/or business development.
• Excellent writing skills and graphic design abilities.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Experience with Project Management softwares is a plus.
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication and detailed organizational skills.  Dependability, professionalism and a positive attitude are a must.
• Proficient English speaker and eligible to work in the U.S. immediately
