Design-oriented architectural firm is seeking an energetic, flexible, project manager to help oversee high-end residential and commercial projects.
Skills Required
- 5-8 years of experience in an architectural firm.
- Experience creating construction documents.
- Must be proficient with Autocad.
- Experience with Sketchup is preferred but not required.
- Local to New York City, to survey properties and attend project meetings in person.
- The ability to develop details.
- Experience with free-standing house construction/detailing would be appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Survey and prepare existing conditions drawings.
- 3d computer models.
- Develop pricing documents and construction documents.
- Prepare Department of Buildings application paperwork.
- Ability to switch gears and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
- Writing skills are a plus.
- Collaborate remotely but within 45 minutes of Manhattan.
This is a small firm where the applicant's contributions will be significant in every phase of the process from initial concept design through construction.
