Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. is a full-service architecture firm based in Brooklyn. We specialize in residential and adaptive re-use projects and enjoy working closely with clients, and collaboratively with contractors to provide unique design, a high level of service, and a high quality finished product. We are looking for an Intermediate Architect to join our team. Selected candidate will work directly with firm leaders and will have ongoing day to day involvement with a selection of projects. Current projects include numerous brownstone renovations and additions, apartment combinations, and facade restorations.

Responsibilities range from existing conditions documentation and schematic design to construction document creation and consultant coordination to bid leveling and construction administration. Involvement with all phases of a project and interface with clients, consultants and contractors is required.

You should have the following qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture
• a minimum of two years of experience in an architecture firm, ideally including some work on high end residential projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and follow through, ability to multi-task
• Must be self motivated and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
• Excellent AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills. SketchUp proficiency desired
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
