We are looking for a full time production designer to join our team at our Brooklyn studio. This position focuses on taking approved design drawings and updating for as-built site conditions and material properties, as well as revising construction detailing for ease of fabrication and installation. The production designer will work closely with the purchaser to create a bill of materials, shop manager to coordinate fabrication, and CNC operator to prepare CNC ready files.

Secondarily, this position will also be asked to produce client facing drawings for design approval. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, architecture, or other construction related field
• Proficiency in 3d modeling software (Rhino preferred)
• Knowledge of construction phases and fabrication processes
• Comfortable surveying existing jobsite conditions 
• Ability to produce detailed and organized shop drawings
• Ability to work as a team with all departments to run through various phases of a project smoothly
