landscape architecture firm with seven studios world-wide. The US
offices are working on architectural, interior, and landscape projects
associated with libraries, performance spaces, master plans, academia,
museums, park planning, and public plazas throughout the Americas.
Summary
We are looking for a Knowledge Management Project Coordinator to join
our team in New York. The Knowledge Management (KM) Project Coordinator
is responsible for projects and assignments that support the daily
activities of Information and Knowledge Management for Snøhetta’s U.S.
offices. Under the direction and supervision of the Director of
Knowledge Management, the KM Project Coordinator not only leads and
supports KM projects, they may also coordinate and develop initiatives
to forward the goals set by the Executive Team together with the
Director of Knowledge Management.
The KM Project Coordinator supports the Director of Knowledge
Management in reporting on KM projects and initiatives to the Executive
Team as well as performing typical administrative activities, including
but not limited to document and file organization, process
documentation, and schedule coordination with consultants and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Research and consolidate data for the development of KM projects and strategy.
- Track project timelines, coordinate scheduling and prepare project reports for Knowledge Management projects.
- Coordinate and plan logistics and agendas for Knowledge Management project meetings and working sessions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and manage content for intranet.
- Observe business practices and identify opportunities to improve
processes through strategic Information Management or Knowledge
Management.
- Champion internal communication, community building, knowledge sharing and continuing education.
- Support Director of Knowledge Management in planning and administrative tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Prior experience with Knowledge Management, Information Management, or Library Science strongly preferred
- Experience and familiarity with relational database design and functionality strongly preferred
- Experience within the Architecture or Landscape Architecture industry preferred
Relationships
- Reports directly to Director of Knowledge Management, with a
tangential relationship to other Operations team leaders as well as the
Executive team
- Will work closely with design staff and employees throughout the studio at all levels
