Brooklyn based Architecture and Design firm is seeking mid-level and senior Interior Designers to join our team of architects and interior designers.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of design experience or as many as 8-10 years experience.
Ideal candidates must have strong leadership and project management skills, demonstrated business development success and confident presentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and draft overall space and furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, electrical, construction & millwork details
- Develop and coordinate interior design and furniture concepts (including proposals for styling and accessorizing)
- Developing architecture and FFE palettes
- Contribute to client presentations
- Act as liaison between the design firm and vendors
- Preparation of lighting, electrical, finishes, and furniture plans and schedules
- Preparation of proposals and invoices to be sent to clients
- Requesting samples, sample sourcing, follow up with vendors and subcontractors
- Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on shipping & receipt of all purchased items from time of sourcing through to final installation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Project management experience
- Possess an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while exhibiting initiative in management of all intra-office priorities
- Knowledge of furniture, including antique and vintage furniture
- Knowledge of fabrics, wallpaper, and other decorative materials
- Knowledge of styling and accessorizing
- Minimum education: Bachelor degree or higher in the design discipline
- Knowledge of material, hardware, and furniture sources, showrooms and retail stores
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3d modeling, and hand sketching
- Personality that thrives in a very close-knit team setting; excellent interpersonal skills and customer service sensibilities
- Exceptional level of attention to detail and a mastery of organizational and time management skills
