Communications & Office Manager

nARCHITECTS is an award-winning architecture firm known for joining innovative concepts, social engagement and technical precision in addressing contemporary issues.  We are seeking a communications / office manager: roughly 2/3 of your time would be spent on communications related activities, 1/3 will be office admin related.  We are looking for the right, long-term fit for our intense and creative office environment.

Communications Responsibilities:

  • RFQ / RFP’s: Work with Partners and senior staff to lead, research, design, write, and coordinate proposals, RFP’s and RFQ’s. Help build / coordinate the consultant team.
  • Press: Respond to press inquiries, issue press releases, newsletters and award submissions.
  • Presentations / Lectures: Coordinate project / firm presentations and submissions.
  • Update firm portfolios, firm profiles, bio’s and staff resume.
  • Oversee & update firm’s website, web presence, and social media.
  • Assist with new business outreach / initiatives.
  • Keep the office’s / leadership’s registrations and licenses up to date.

Office Management Responsibilities:

  • General office admin and daily operations support of physical office space and personnel.
  • Coordinate with IT consultants to maintain functionality of technology.
  • Manage office calendar and arrange travel.


  • An undergraduate degree in architecture, art, design or communications-related discipline and prior admin experience in an architecture or planning office.
  • Excellent writing skills and graphic design abilities.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), MS Office (PPT, Excel).
  • Experience working on/coordinating publications a plus.
  • Knowledge of and passion for contemporary architecture and art culture. 
  • Excellent multi-tasking, communication and detailed organizational skills. Dependability, professionalism and a positive attitude are a must.
  • Proficient English speaker and eligible to work in the U.S. immediately.
