Reform collaborates with internationally acclaimed architects to reform the classic white kitchen and its familiar neutral atmosphere. We do this because the kitchen is one of the most important spaces in our homes and because we love great design, especially at an affordable price.

We design and manufacture unique kitchen fronts and countertops made from durable materials that are easy to combine with IKEA’s basic and popular components. It’s that simple!

As our Showroom Consultant you will be the face of Reform and provide excellent customer service and design guidance to clients looking to bring Reform’s Scandinavian design aesthetic into their kitchen. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that every person who you come in contact with is engaged in a positive manner, listened to, and assisted in whatever way is most appropriate
  • Perform in-store consultations for clients seeking expert advice for their kitchen projects, specifically related to design, color and space
  • Answer phones and respond to email and online questions in a timely manner
  • Prepare quotations per client requests accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a database of potential and existing clients in order to provide world-class customer service
  • Perform daily opening/closing tasks when required
  • Host and attend local design events at our Brooklyn showroom

Requirements:

  • Available to work Saturdays and some weeknights
  • Previous showroom experience
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills including the ability to find connections between Reform’s products and our clients’ needs
  • The physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise and ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
  • Excellent computer skills including Mac, PC, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and G Suite
  • Knowledge of kitchen cabinetry and kitchen design a plus
  • Art/Interior design experience a plus
