Tri-Lox is a design+build practice and sustainable wood products manufacturer based in Brooklyn, NY. We develop unique installations and products for a diverse clientele in public, commercial, residential, and exhibition spaces. Since 2010, Tri-Lox has been committed to innovative design, environmental integrity, and community stewardship.

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to implement new and exciting marketing initiatives in collaboration with the company leadership and creative team.

This position includes the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • Implement marketing plans, design marketing materials, structure press relations and populate social media pipeline.

  • Research, develop and coordinate press opportunities.

  • Develop content for an e-newsletter, the website and social media.

  • Conduct client and project research, build and maintain a database of client and media contacts and schedule marketing presentations.

  • Pitch and develop event concepts and collaborations.

  • Assist with the coordination, budget management and production of marketing events.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Confident, articulate and professional communicator in English, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with close attention to detail.

  • Excellent strategic and critical thinking ability.

  • Demonstrated professional experience in communications, marketing, and/or sales, preferably in the fields of architecture and design.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; preferably in communications, PR, journalism, creative writing, architecture and/or interior design.

  • Mastery of software including: Google Suite, MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PDF.

  • Experience working with web content management systems and social media platforms.

Our ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, passionate about design and eager to take on challenges independently while also working in a collaborative environment. Candidates will be evaluated based on previous experience and work/writing samples.

Hours: This is a part time position of 2-3 days per week

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
