The refurbishment of 10 Old Bailey, completed in 2021, aimed to enhance the building to a higher standard and create a space that deviated from conventional commercial offices. The design was created to capture the essence of the clientele and historical context within the City. My role involved designing the façade and updating the reception area’s interior design. I adopted a modern and minimalist aesthetic, emphasising clean lines, high-quality materials and subtle lighting. Additionally, I was responsible for the project’s specifications by selecting construction materials, colour palettes and contacting suppliers.
Another aspect of my involvement was the fourth floor’s redesign, which underwent a comprehensive CAT A refurbishment. This involved stripping the space back to its shell and introducing hybrid semi-exposed services, transforming it into a versatile and modern workspace. I created a set of visuals using VRay to showcase multiple options and material palettes for the client’s selection.
