Boulder, CO
Nestled into a hillside in North Boulder, this home was designed to maximize views of the Flatirons while complying with the deeded height restrictions on the property. The house is approached from the road above through a landscaped courtyard. Entering on the top floor, the view of the Flatirons is revealed. Floor to ceiling south-facing windows maximize the views on main floor and lower level. As you enter, an oversized opening with floating stair welcomes and connects you to the lower level and future pool area. A large skylight above the opening filters light into the center of the house and balances the light from the south facing windows.
