A sketch design is done as a participation in the Ideas Competition. The site is located in the Galway city centre on the pier of historical, but still active port. The main architectural concept  is based  on a swan image, floating in the silent harbour`s waters. Nevertheless, how strange that seems, swans are allways there.  People are making photo`s, paintings and poems of swans at Galway harbour since old times. Then such swan`s white image became as a main symbol for the building`s white shape. Function of the building is simple – public open stage with retractable roof, exibition hall, trade, offices and marine facilities on a floating pier.
