Personal project. Competition (Fundación Eduardo Torroja).
A hypothetical situation is imagined in which there may be a time when the sea water level will have risen due to global warming and the population will have increased significantly.
Then, we will have to find sustainable solutions to house all the inhabitants in a decreasing land. The suggested solution saves the land as a source of natural resources, colonizing the seas.
The result is a self-sufficient city that spreads from land to water around a series of main lanes that provide public services and energy systems. Each part of this floating device is manufactured following high quality controls in the production process, as a reconfigurable system that adapts to the needs of its people at different scales, from the citizen to the entire city.
