I'm am a Architecture student in Toronto and I've just finished 2/3 years in an Architectural Technology program. At my school in portfolio class we are encouraged to brand out and discovery the different careers in the field, I am interested in being a quantity surveyor or estimator. Is anyone here one or the process of becoming one? I'm very interested in the numbers/money part of the industry. I want to know what this career is really about from some people in it. Any Advice or Resources would be great.
