I am working on a project under IBC 2006--so we have areas of refuge.
The required signs under 1007.6.4 are a struggle right now. They have to show a bunch of information--routes to other egresses, telling people who can use the stairs that they should and so on.
Has anyone created one of these who would be willing to share? I have googled and haven't come up with anything--I am going to take a pass at it but hesitate to reinvent the wheel.
Maybe this is an unreasonable request (?) but it is just a sign, right?
oh the things coming down the Pike....sigh.....guess you will have to buy the comentary to the IBC 2006.....or be nice with your local building offical so you can get a peek at his....or you could call in a question to eh IBCO Council with the question....and when they ask for your ID....lie....lie...Lie....
