I met with a surveyor today. he said he could pay me $100 for a 5000 SF floor plan with not too many details, its only for square footage calcs for small retail stores. This guy says he cranks out 3 plans a day. WTF? These stores have all these extra rooms and i have to field measure things, and take pics. the store provides a pdf of the original drawings, which helps. Any pricing advice? I know its peanuts.
not sure where you live but this job should be around $250. I know professional drafting services that do 4 residential plans with a good amount of detail approx. total 5000SF for $250 to 350. You should be in this range or at least at 150 to 200 if there is measuring but little detail

thanks for ur response, im in NY. i documented a 3 storey 15,000 SF classroom once and got $3k out of it. im trying to get whatever is out there.
$85.00....that would be known as a quicky....wink!
for 100$ i will give him a rectangle... maybe a square.... what the hell... ill even print it on an 11x17 if he wants, that's about all though
