Waste is a product of everyday life.
It is a byproduct of our existence and our disproportionate way of life. Will waste take over our space?
We will track the path of a disposable coffee cup from its manufacture to its demise exploring the manufacture, packaging, shipping and disposal.
And take a look inside!
Examples of locations to be visited:
Pre-manufacture:
Forrest for paper products (Pacific Northwestern USA)
were not talking about "waste" in nature, our proposal deals with our consumerism and our general disconnect with the processes involved in common made purchases.
In considering our proposal we were envisioning our target audience would not have a consciousness of "cradle to cradle." What we were choosing to highlight was the lifetime and demise of an object, and what happens to it after its disposal. Where is this space, how does it get there, and what happens when this space reaches capacity?

The whole idea is that in any properly designed system waste =nutruent/resource...
In considering our proposal we were envisioning our target audience would not have a consciousness of "cradle to cradle." What we were choosing to highlight was the lifetime and demise of an object, and what happens to it after its disposal.
