i once came across the site of a photographer based in california i believe who takes pictures of suburban (houses, apartments) buildings. many of the photos have an eerie quality to them with huge emphasis on lighting effects. i remember one photo is of a toll brothers-like house with blue light radiating from the windows on snow. it was pretty awesome. i feel like i got linked to it through bldg blog or city of sound, and i'm trying to track it down without much luck.
