ya many things you would not realize are designed in rhino when it comes to products of industrial design.

Chairs are one of the most important things in most peoples lives because we spend a great majority of our lives in them ;)

amazing when you think about what they do to the human body. we were not designed to sit in chairs.

nope, the back wasn't meant to curve forward, nor are the hips designed to be in that position. does your back ever hurt when you sit on a stool? that's because your core is weak due to sitting in chairs all day long.

That chair is hideous. Nothing nice about it.

much like your attitude :) and negative contribution

what a way to start your first post maybe you can turn it around by starting a thread on a more positive note.

we didn't have a chair in our house for about 10 years (not necessary in trad japanese house). now we have fancy european table and chairs from 1950's, and they are pretty comfy, but i still work on the floor as often as not.

chairs may or may not be good for body. but they are not exactly necessary in all situations.
