I'm looking for suggestions of buildings to visit in SF to gain a better idea of strategies for adaptive reuse of warehouses and industrial buildings. Any ideas?
Ghiradelli Square - one of the originals - from there wander along the Embarcadero all the way to South Beach -- all sorts of re-used industrial buildings 1-2 blocks from the water, not least the various pier head houses.
In SOMA check out the buildings around 2nd and Bryant including Clocktower Lofts and residential and office conversions. Further south, the old Esprit warehouses that have been turned into lofts and a restaurant.
