Was better than last years. A ton of models; hand, laser, 3d print, and many combos which was great to see. Seemed to be more projects going back to the fundamentals, and a bit less fluff.
But yeah, was shocked that there were no threads or announcements about it on Archinect. Doubly so, considering how UCLA pressed their review week back at the beginning of summer.

Did anyone go? I can find no discussion of it here and no pictures on flickr.
I think I was there, so I'm pretty sure it happened. I remember thinking "nothing remarkable" as I wandered the halls and listened in on some crits.

i think it's materials research into free-forming polymers and carbon fiber...but to be honest i have no idea

Nice stuff. Love the models and grayscale presentation. I'd certainly welcome anymore drawings/details/etc. on the project.
Some of the other stuff in that slideshow is going to give me nightmares tonight!
