Exposed aggregate...It could be, in theory, perfect for this courtyard area I'm working on.....yet.....I'm not sure I've ever seen an application look really good. It has a very "timed" appearance to me, but I may be confusing it with Eifs.....
I just don't know.
Does anyone know of any applications/projects where exposed aggregate concrete was used and looks good?
Not just good...perfect.
Yeah...that's what I'm looking for. Something to counter the 70's office building imagery.
Somtimes it's hard not to place all the blame on a material....

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but groundface block is quite nice in the right application.
