Can anyone provide the suite # part of the address for H&deM's New York office? They're allegedly in 280 Varick on the same floor as oma and toshiko mori. Thanks.
they're not in 180 varick on that floor (i just worked on that floor). maybe somewhere else in the building but their name is not on the list of offices...
are you sure they have a ny office? i never knew they did
thanks everyone. maybe i heard from someone that they were moving to 180 varick. I'll ride by the lafayette address and check the listings by the elevator...haha.
or maybe he just wants to work for a really respectable office that's not huge on advertising (either in new york or on the web or wherever). very similar to diller, scofidio and renfro for a while.

There's a sadness to this.
just curious - why would there be sadness?
potentially...
1. it's basically one of the top firms in the world, and no one knows where the NY office is located.
2. no one here seems to know anyone at said office, or if they work there are keeping their mouths shut to preserve their jobs.
No, I think the sadness comes from the way atlas has to stalk H & dM - which I guess is related to the 2 other reasons.
It reminds me of those stories about actors trying to get their break in LA by stalking big-shot directors.
But hey, atlas could damn well have an awesome portfolio and be hired on the spot.
