spring creek ranch in covington, tennessee by cutler anderson architects is amazing.
i was lucky enough to join an aia tour before it opened to the public, and was subsequently blown away. everything, from fasteners to door stops, was designed in house and drawn by hand. the CD set alone is over 700 pages.
That Pattersons clubhouse above is pretty great. It was just nominated as a finalist for the World Architecture Awards. It's in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Anti -- post your design... knowing from other threads how committed you are to zero impact and sustainablity at all levels, I'm ready to learn how this is accomplished within the context of a golf course.

Drawn by hand? Seriously? as in pencil and paper... is that typical for Culter?
cutler sketches (or used to) details en route to lectures and whatnot, and then his underlings cad it up. at least, that's my understanding...
700 pages?!? whoa, hella bespoke.
Thanks Holz - I did read about that type of sketching that culter does on planes, etc... but does a 700 sheet hand-drawn set actually exist?
Morphosis designed one in their early days somewhere in Japan.
Oijared Executive Country Club:

there is also a decent golf club in Columbus, IN designed by Harry Weese in 1964. It is definitely old school, but better than most.
also, spring creek ranch is located in collierville, tn. and yes, culter's office definitely draws by both hand and computer.

let's see it, Anti ^
For all your talk, I'm expecting quite a lot from you.
In a similar vein - does anyone know any great precedents for residential clubhouses, like you would find in a large tower complex?
a residential club house is best referenced as, "The Casino"
