I have a project in Queens NY which requires me subdivide an existing lot. I have searched the NYC.gov website and was not able to find the steps to filing this application.
I would greatly appreciate any help in starting this process.
What you are looking to do might be called submitting a tract map or lot subdivision. I dunno about New York specifically, but how you go about this differs whether you are subdividing unimproved land, creating townhomes, condominiums or co-operatives. All of these generally involve a lawyer.
Maybe someone from the islands of New York can be of more assistance. You may be in over your head.

You need to fill out an RP-604 from the Department of Finance...

The lot is small and currently contains a warehouse. The project is to apportion this lot into two, to build two residential units.
