So I caught this speach on C-SPAN yesterday, and this is worth watching, Clinton outlines practical solutions for cities to invest in energy efficiency and in response to the climate change and energy crisis:
You'll need real player to watch that... But Clinton talks about some interesting ideas there... At one point, he talks about financial products / tools that are available to cities to cut energy costs, and are that don't impact operating budgets and are risk free: these are loans for retrofitting buildings for energy efficiency, that are guaranteed for cities by third party organizations which take on the risk for banks, so that cities only repay the loan for these retrofits if the monetary savings from energy are realized... Not sure, but it sounds good...
Does anybody know how to convert a realplayer file from c-span to YouTube so that it won't get deleted?
