several good things happening at the new museum. not to mention the building itself is quite impressive if you havent been there.... probably depends how into art your kids are though.

is awesome. also check out the websites from a bunch of the larger parks, they normally have family events going on

but yeah, the new museum is very cool. the work isnt as abstract as it was before, much more accessible while still being interesting

go to the met. spend a day there, at least. walk outside, go to central park

go to the guggenheim (though i think its still under scaffolding -_-)

tons of stuff to do, the problem is that the city is so enormous it can be hard to find things :/ its amazing how something so big can be so isolating at times
