Can someone point me to where I can find definitions of the levels of civil engineering site surveys? Specifically, I’m trying to understand what will be delivered in a class 1 survey relative to my other options (class 2, class 3???).
Thanks Treekiller. There is no proposal to query; it is a question I raised in the office (that no one had an answer to) in trying to understand what I should expect on a survey and what I should ask for. Since all the surveys we have state that they conform to a Class 1 Survey I figured that I should ask for a Class 1 survey but I don’t want to do that without understanding what I’m really asking for…
G601 has all the language I’ll need though. Thank you.

hmmm, do a search for 'ALTA survey' or look at the AIA G601 Survey RFP - that is most of what you need to know about surveys as an architect.
Or ask the guy who wrote that proposal.
