- saturday april 12th, 3pm
- drinks, coffee, whatever
- venue TBA depending on numbers and where everyone is from
- get the word out there if you want a bigger crowd, otherwise it looks like it could just be me and newman having beers
- RSVP here or to my email, i will post a definitive plan end of the week
or we could meet up at the Beijing Planning museum to see the model of Beijing.... a little field trip if you will. They close at 4pm so if we did that we would have to meet up earlier.
people should be able to find pass-by bar i think. might be a bit tough for newcomers, but let's see what others think.
saw the planning exhibit about three years ago, centerpiece is a huge model of the city that you can walk around. not as big as shanghai's though. worth going.
can decide on a final plan if/when there's some feedback.
My dad is coming to see me today, he is an architect as well.., I thought he might be interested in checking out the planning museum. Is that still an option? Or can somebody give me the info so I can hit that up on my own?

Beijing Meet-Up
Anyone?
what does a meet up entail, I live near wudaokou.
I am sure since most of us here are super busy, it would be a reason to drink some beers and share some stories.
I am actually not busy at all but would love some beer. I have no stories, yet.
when? will probably stop by beijing after ordos in mid april.
I miss Beijing, you guys should hit up Hohai, don't know how it is in winter/early spring though.
I am here forever.
