online portfolio

Gyo

Hi guys,
I am thinking to start a net portfolio.
However, I have no clue at this point.
Should I use WordPress?

Man, to be honest,
I don't even know how to ask the question properly.

Give me some direction, or show me your online folio please : (

nothing is easy on the information tubes.

you can try picasa, or even post on flickr or similar...alternatively make a pdf and place to download site...those have all been used here before.

if i was doing it myself i would use dreamweaver and fireworks. not much harder than photoshop and in-design. wordpress as website is not a bad idea but you need to know about css and a bit of html wouldn't hurt...not hard at all, but maybe not your cuppa...

Anyone know any simple html coding tutorials or something that could teach me to make a simple site like this:

David Potes Photography

I like the horizontal layout of the photos for each subject.

And I don't know anything about making websites or coding.

I like the simplicity of this one off the school blog too

I keep telling myself that I'll do my own website someday... but until I get around to it I use coroflot. Actually I'll probably keep coroflot as an auxilliary even once I get my own site done, just because I know that employers to actually recruit there occasionally.

a few places go horizontal. is not hard. but you will need to learn dreamweaver at the least. same for if you want to do something simple like danny's site. the tutorials in dreamweaver or fireworks is pretty clear and takes not so long to learn...but it takes some effort. if you want all work done for you then above portfolio sites are all great

well, he was dumb enough to sign above the word "architect", and they got him in the loop-hole as his firm name has the term 'architect'

mad props for california though, the law is the law

he fought the law, and the law won... he fought the law, and the law won...
