I'm years away from my first bimmer, but I'm really fortunate that my 3 favorites in recent history are out of production now. The '95 m3 coupe, the '04 740i and the 8 series...

So by the time I need to buy a car, and by the time my finances are in check, I can pick up and oldie for cheap(er).

BMW lost me a little bit with the new 7 series. They're bulky and sloppy looking, not trim and angular.

My first bimmer was a '84 528e I had it for three months before a Honda truck ran into it and totaled it. My second BMW and first beemer was a '71 R75/5 still ridding it when the weather permits

BMW has been putting out some interesting videos lately.

My 540i is still making me smile. Quite a difference from my old Jeep.
