ill be traveling up to hiroshima for the weekend and am wondering if anyone knows of any buildings, spaces, parks, shops, or anything that they've seen that they thought were interesting (aside from the obvious peace park, a-bomb dome, miyajima, etc)
i visited the Yano-minami Elementary School by Atelier Zo -- i think one of a number of projects meant to give new life and hope for people living in a city that will be forever marked by the disaster. (i think it was in the suburbs.) maybe better on a weekday when the children are running around and playing ...
