i thought it was cool last night that the first super bowl in the new eisenman designed univ of phoniex stadium was the site where eisenman (a ny giants season ticketholder) won the super bowl....
I thought it interesting that for all the commentary on the design of the new stadium they n ever mentioned the architect! THIS is where (though not the only place) the AIA is failing. There should be a strong push on their part to increase the visibility and role of architects through projects like this -- if news-flks talk about the design, then they should mention the architect. MUch like a DJ mentions the singer of a song...

Yeah...I didn't think it was cool..*ctually, I thought it royally sucked.
wait, so now we have something else we can blame on Eisenman?
