question for all you scooterers :
I've a scooter that a friend gave me , totally old and run down from the 70's , - if i fix it up , how to go about establishing the proof of ownership req'd for plates?
i know this is a wretchedly specific question , but i'm really at a loss. ...
thnx
The DMV regulations will vary from state to state but you may want to start with them if there is no title. I would advise to see what sort of hoops you need to jump throuh first to see if it's worth it and then look into fixing the ol girl up. The problem is that depending on what the scoot is you will probably have problems finding parts.
The second issue is to make sure you ave your motorcycle endorsement on your license. Here in Wisconsin anything over 50cc required an "M" endorsement.
