Any of you guys know where I may be able to find good carpenters in the NYC area or know of a few? I'm probably going to put some postings in newspapers but I figured asking here wouldn't hurt, who knows maybe there are some carpenters here on the 'nect.
go to servicemagic.com - i did. sign up but put a phone # that you could screen the calls - about 8 different carpenters will call you immediately. then grill them about their past work. check their stuff out if you can. select. done.

Finding decent carpenters: NYC area

Oh, and i mean to hire these guys as part of a crew, i work for a GC.
