Of those that have taken the ARE or are in the process...
Which exam sections are the easiest? most difficult?
The pass rates are available on-line but I'm looking
for more validation.
depends....are you hoping to finish BEFORE the transition to 4.0? if so go building technology, all associated elements of bldg techn (see transition chart from NCARB), then other graphic vignettes...
When you consider the order also keep in mind that it takes much longer to get the results from the graphic exams - 5 to 8 weeks on average and occasionally up to 12, as compared to 2-4 weeks for the multiple choice sections. Do you want the wait to know that you've passed your final exam to be two months long? If not then don't leave the graphics for last.
ARE - exam sequence? easiest to difficult? vice-versa?

a suggested sequence from NCARB for a two year plan, taking a test every month and even a second or third time within the 2 years, if needed...
