I am new to the forums, so forgive my etiquette issues if any :)
What are some good firms which specialise in CNC , fabrication, stereolithography and affiliated fields?
I am a 22 year old undergraduate student and i do not have any previous experience in rapid prototyping but am being trained on Digital Project by Gehry Technologies as a part of my 6 months of professional practice ( Project: LVMH fondation pour la creation ). I also have previous experience in CATIA V5.
I would be graduating in 2008 may. What would be the best method of approach to get exposed to rapid prototyping? Any point on the globe would be great i guess..Africa to siberia :P
If you're working at Gehry Partners, there should be plenty of people all around you who can point you to some resources. I know that there are lots of fabrication shops in and around LA there that do CNC and Stereolithography, several of which work, or have worked, with GP. Ask around with some of your coworkers.

I am working at Paris for Studios Architecture who are the executive architects of Fondation and not at GP, LA :)
I was thinking of non-us locations , i mean i believe it is difficult to get a work visa etc ?
. Keep and eye as we are expanding to Barcelona as well.
