765, i favorited it so you could steal it from my account (since you're a contact of mine) or i think you could just right-click the image itself to copy the path.
it reminds me of this temp job i had, where i would go look for old accounts on microfiche. at the beginning and at the end of the strips, there would often be these scratchy images that looked like posted image. i would often spend a half hour or so looking at the scratchy images after(or before) finding the missing information.
Check out photo.net's "architecture images" from time to time ... go here Photo.net Top Photos - pull up "Architecture" in the drop down "Category" screen - poke "search" and then browse.
one thing i really enjoy with flickr is looking at other ppl's favourites - and more and more i am noticed the amount of hmmm how shall we say 'artful nude' images that are faved. guess in the end we all end up looking at the same thing on flickr. my faves are not squeaky clean either :)
i was browsing the net today and ended up on second life images posted on flickr. There's a group of ppl who take "artsy" stills from the game and post them on flikr... I thought that was - intriguing - to say the least.
You guys should include links back to the image pages! It's polite, and it's a way to stay compliant with the flckr Community Guidelines. There is some way to hack the url and find the original image page, but it's not that easy.
As an avid flickr user, I'd want to know if someone liked a picture of mine enough to post it somewhere, and some of these are cool enough that I wanna go and see the original so I can fave it.
I know we're hotlink-happy here on archinect, but especially on a thread like this, especially when flickr goes out of their way to give permission as long as you play nice, we should take the time to include the backlinks.

Smokety -- I have an original of that Munich Olympic poster -- our local German consulate was handing them out around that time.
not really a 'beautiful' flickr find - but it made me happy that i don't have to use japanese public transport everyday
p2an, that's so funny that you say that.....the only "artful nude" pic that I favorited is this one.....so did 80 other people, as a matter of fact:
DubK - that looks like the big mall in the UK somewhere who's name escapes me at the moment. anyone know what i'm talking about here?
not this:
haha...the future systems one in birmingham, good call.
exactly...the selfridges project. i thought it might have been harrods...no wonder i couldn't find anything.
That's the reason that I like the photo so much, it reminds me of a building, specifically that one....
hi dubk.

I knew it wouldn't be long before architecture dirtied this thread...

Does that say "Ball Rider"???
I couldn't bear the thought of that picture being the last thing people see on this thread.
Bringing it back, here's another one of my favorites, from SuperHeavy:
if you guys want to see some amazing photos, you should go to "deviant art"
