I am trying to file on my own for the firts time, but can't get an appointment till end of August, meanwhile we must start construction very very soon. Does anyone have a slot i can trade with? I will pay for it !!
Hang out at the building department and make friends with one of these expeditors who knows everyone at the building department. They might be able to bump you up.
If you're talking about the Queens Building Department... good luck...

Time SLot for Plan Examination at NYC Dept of Buildings

did you try getting a facilitator or just go ahead with the construction and then getting it approved?
I need to get it "re-approved" the plans were approved two years ago, but construction is only starting now, so apparently we have to "re-file"
