So I've been at the office for about a year now and am going to be getting a raise. I think I'm going to ask for 10%, but a month or so ago I passed the LEED exam and my employers gave me a slight raise for that. My question is should I ask for the 10% pre or post LEED raise? A majority of my work was done beforehand, so I'm thinking that I should ask off of that, but it would be nice to get the ever so slight increase of the post exam salary. Any advice please?

My initial response is that your raise should be based upon what you are currently making - not what you were making before you were LEED certified.
