did anyone see BJORK at Coachella?

thenew

Bjork's performance at Coachella blew my mind. Did any of you make it? If so - what was that crazy instrument that resembled a table (with a green top)? The DJ (I think it was Mark Bell) moved icons freely around the table, somehow to generate sound. What is this and how does it work? Wow!

i caught her first few songs. i took off after she sang "all is full of love" (which was fuckin' great, by the way) to catch gogol bordello.

i think that was just a digital mixer.

It was a 'reactable' (react + table) and it was definitely one of the highlights of the Friday perfomances.

she was cool, but real mellow - left halfway through her set for the 120 mile drive back to LA. I have a few pics that I'll upload later this week.

i can understand having to control backing tracks but why we're the horns being controlled by the DJ also...that didn't make sense...

Above baby is the outcome of an arrant make-out session that occurred behind me during Bjork's show. It's lost considerable ear drum capacity, the poor thing.
