one of my best friends (lesbian, ultra-liberal, probably the raddest girl i know) is in culinary school right now at the c.i.a. she came home last weekend to visit her parents only to find out that her parents have replaced their familiy portrait of the fireplace with an oil portrait of george w. bush.
she shrieked in horror when she saw it. she waited for her parents to leave to the grocery store hung it upside down and bolted it down. the portrait is now hanging upside down because her parents are scared to remove the bolts because the drywall damage. they hired a drywall guy to fix it later this week.
